About Máire Johnson

My name is Máire Johnson, a Dingle based award winning bridal hair stylist with over 14 years’ experience in hairdressing. I recently decided to dedicate myself fully to bridal styling, because there is something uniquely special and rewarding about being part of the bride and her family on her wedding day. My services don’t just stop with the bride. I am available to style family of the groom, guests for special occasions, or even for the relaxed ‘day two’ celebrations.

My goal?

Creating a calm, enjoyable atmosphere on your wedding morning. I also love supporting brides on their hair journey leading up to the wedding to enhance their look because trends and techniques evolve constantly, I am always updating my skills through courses and online education to ensure every bride feels incredible from start to finish. In 2015 I won the “Best of the Best Newcomer Award” and in 2018 I was very lucky to be chosen to represent Ireland in OMC World championships where I came fourth. This was a great achievement and one I will be so proud of forever. I’m looking forward to competing in bridal competitions in the future.
